Terms of Service

Effective: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

These terms are a plain-English agreement between you and Sevenday. Please read them before purchasing. By buying a plan or using this website, you agree to them.

01 Who we are

This website and the services described on it are provided by Sevenday Studio LLC, doing business as Sevenday ("Sevenday," "we," "us," or "our"). You can reach us at hello@sevenday.studio. In these Terms, "you" means the person or business purchasing or using our services.

02 What we provide

Sevenday designs, builds, and launches websites for small businesses and local shops. We currently offer two one-time build plans — Launch ($1,900) and Growth ($3,500) — and a required monthly Care Plan ($99/month) that keeps your site online and maintained.

Each build includes the pages, copywriting, setup, and revisions described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. We aim to deliver your finished site within seven business days of receiving everything we need from you. Work is handled asynchronously; no meetings or calls are required, though timelines depend on you providing information and feedback promptly.

03 Pricing and payment

Prices are as listed on our website at the time you order. Payments are processed securely through Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. The one-time build fee is charged at checkout. The Care Plan is billed monthly and recurs automatically until you cancel. Applicable taxes, if any, may be added. Prices for new orders may change at any time, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed.

04 The Care Plan

The Care Plan is required because it includes hosting, security, backups, and a set number of small edits each month — the things that keep your site live and current. Because hosting is part of the plan, your website remains online only while the plan is active.

You may cancel the Care Plan at any time. When you cancel, the plan runs through the end of your current billing period and then stops, at which point your site is removed from our hosting. You own your site (see Section 7), so before the plan ends you may export it or have it moved to hosting of your choice. We're happy to provide your final files on request.

05 Your responsibilities

To build your site, we rely on you to:

  • Provide accurate, complete business information through our intake form;
  • Supply any content, images, or logos you want included, and respond to requests and feedback in a timely way;
  • Make sure you have the legal right to everything you give us. By submitting materials, you confirm you own them or are licensed to use them, and you grant us permission to use them to build and host your site.

Delays in providing what we need will extend the delivery timeline accordingly.

06 Revisions and scope

Each plan includes the number of revision rounds stated on the pricing page. Requests that fall outside the original scope of your plan — additional pages, new features, an online store, custom development, or work beyond the included revisions — are available as add-ons and may require a separate quote before we begin.

07 Ownership of your site

Once your build fee is paid in full, you own the final website we deliver — its design, content, and your domain. We retain ownership of our underlying tools, templates, processes, and general know-how, and nothing here transfers rights to those. Third-party elements (such as fonts, stock imagery, or software) remain subject to their own licenses, which we'll pass through to you where applicable.

08 Showing your project in our portfolio

Unless you ask us not to, we may display your completed website, your business name, and your logo as examples of our work in our portfolio and marketing. If you'd prefer we don't, just email hello@sevenday.studio and we'll honor that.

09 Refunds and cancellation

Build fees are fully refundable before design work begins, and non-refundable once design work has started. The Care Plan can be cancelled at any time; we don't provide refunds for the current month, and hosting ends at the close of that billing period. If you believe something has gone wrong, contact us — we'd rather make it right than leave you unhappy.

10 Hosting and availability

We host sites on reputable third-party infrastructure and make reasonable efforts to keep your site online and secure. We can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we aren't responsible for outages, failures, or data loss caused by third-party providers or events outside our control.

11 Acceptable use

You agree not to ask us to create or host content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harmful, or that violates the rights of others. We may decline or stop work, or suspend hosting, for any project that does so.

12 Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we build sites designed to convert visitors into customers and to be found in search, we do not guarantee any specific result — including particular traffic, leads, sales, conversion rates, or search rankings. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here.

13 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sevenday will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14 Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of the content or materials you provide to us, or your use of the website we deliver, including any claim that your materials infringe someone else's rights.

15 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.

16 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
